To reduce waste and be more environmentally friendly, we are selling our monstera sets with imperfections. Similar to the flagship Monstera Albo set, this imperfect set comes with the same number of parts and in similar designs. The designs differ in that there can be similar leaves in one set, or a variety of designs from other versions we have sold in the past.

Imperfections can range from a few different kinds, including but not limited to:

small marks on the leaves, stems, soil, or pot
tiny colour bleeding of green or white on the leaves
tiny chips on any of the parts
other imperfections still possible

Each coaster set includes:

6 coaster leaves that may not be from the same set or design
3 stems, with slots for 2 leaves each
1 brown soil topper that holds all the stems
1 grey planter pot base

Note: There will be no box or elevated packaging included with a set with imperfections.

Each coaster leaf is about 4in / 10cm long, and 3.5in / 9cm wide. Fits standard and smaller mugs and cups.
The thickness of each leaf is about 0.11in / 3mm.
This coaster set plant is approximately 10 inches / 25cm tall, and 7 inches / 18cm wide.
The weight is approximately 5 oz / 142g.
The packaging dimensions that this plant comes in is 9in x 6in x 3in (LxWxH), or 23cm x 15cm x 8cm.

care instructions

Wipe with a dry cloth if it gets wet. If you need to wash, rinse with water and wipe dry. Do NOT use soap.
Keep AWAY from direct sunlight.
Avoid placing mugs, cups, or containers that are too hot to touch.
While the product build quality is high, do not be overly aggressive with any of its parts. Be gentle when putting leaves on and taking them off.
Tell all your friends and family members about it so it feels loved.

What are some other things to keep in mind?

While we do our best to accurately show the colours in pictures, please be aware that there may be slight variations due to lighting, angles, cameras, and screens.
All leaves are coated with a shiny / sparkly layer on the top to enhance durability and appearance. This is part of the 3D manufacturing process.
This plant is not meant to be submerged in water nor be in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Doing so will break down the product over time.
The coasters are NOT heat resistant. They start to bend north of 50C (122F). Only place cups or mugs that aren't hot to the touch.
Minor imperfections are normal in products that are 3D printed. They add to the uniqueness of each item, just like how real-life plants are unique too.
Minor "stringing" is also normal in 3D printed products. Just remove them with your fingers or a tweezer!

When can I expect to receive my order?

It can take 3-7 business days to arrive depending on your location. If you're in the US, expect an extra 3-5 business days.

Can I request custom orders, or change the colours of what you have listed for sale?

Unfortunately, due to the added time and complexity, we are not going to accommodate specific requests. What you see is what you get! 🙂

Is there a return policy?

Because every item has been hand finished and packed, we do not allow refunds of any kind, unless the product is damaged during shipment. If that is the case, please send us an email at hello@botaniforge.ca and we will get you sorted!
